It's a sad day for the Total War Community.

We will build a shrine to remember the honourable Dreads.

All former Dreads...Good luck and thanks.

thanks for the kind words. It was a very hard decision indeed but it had to be made.

I would like to echo Stars comments and thank all the patrons of the Org and the community at large for some memorable times.

We must now go and change our shapes, maybe to return one day.

Good luck to all Dreads, and honour them.
When meeting with a sudden shower, you try not to get wet and run along the road. By passing under the eaves of houses, you still get wet. When you are resolved from the beginning, you will not be perplexed, though you will still get the same soaking. This understanding extends to all things.

    Gah!

Does this mean that Krast can have his Wakibiki back?

    He was Krast's favourite student!

tis sad news another clan gone. . gl to all u ronin in futre tho

I would like to say gl to the members who have decided to leave but what puzzles me the most is the dread clan is still running.Lahll says he was the daimyo and he not finishing the clan.Gl to star and boro on your ronin quest and I hope to see you in room someday.

Nothing like a bit of stirring eh?

As far as I am aware this is the situation as it stands now.

When I created the Dreads from Taito's MasterSamurai Clan it was to breed players of quality (both in skill and honour) and have them graduating to the Dreads.
    This worked well.
I was then absent for six months, during this time MI was released.
Lahll created the "official" clan name for battling purposes, therefore his name reads as "daimyo" because his name created the clan name. The clan name is "1Dread1".
This strictly speaking is not the proper clan name anyway, but that is the one we have been playing under.
Star and I felt (as the senior statesmen of the clan) that we have gone as far as we could go and therefore dispand the clan forthwith.
several members, including Lahll decided that they didnt want to stop the clan.
There is not very much that can be done if they want to do that.
Although I feel very disappointed that they wish to do this, I cannot blame them for wanting to do so as we had a very strong clan in every sense of the word.
It is a bit of a shambles that the Dreadmasters cannot retire gracefully. This runs concurrently with the debacle of some previous members upping and leaving at the drop of a hat. It also goes to show that Star and myself feel vindicated and we made the right decision. Look at what is going on... what is going on???

As i previously said I think it is sad that we cannot "put the clan to bed" so to speak, but if existing members wish to carry on then good luck to them, I wish them well.
In my eyes the Dreadmaster Clan is dead. Long live the King.

    Another one bites the dust!

As the ebbs of Time flow by, all the greats fall beneath the black cloak of death. So now, welcome these noble warriors into thy bossom, oh Mother Earth... ashes to ashes... dust to dust... May they seek comfort and solace amidst the insects that consume their flesh in the damp, dark, cozy confines of their eternal grave. May they rest in peace knowing that they have now commenced their ascent to Nirvana and will now embark on the greatest duty of their existence: service in the name of Buddha and the Horseman!

    But Tank is needed!

If you eject Tank, dozens of ugly children will appear from nowhere to fill the vacuum.

Tank, You,DreadPiqua and I had some good games in the old room. No problems, no hard words. With the clan restarting how about letting bygones be bygones. We're working on the password issue. Buntaro
