why can't i post replys on main hall?

Greetings McB, If you would read the forum rules and guidelines you will see as a Junior Patron you are resticyed to new postings in The Entrance Hall or replies only in the Alchemist lab and Apothecary,
when you make a few posts and we see you can swim with the big fishes you will be promoted and have full forum access, this is a relatively painless process and suually a short one as well, so get acclimated and be patient. thanks...LOS

Just to add to what LOS said, if you really want to reply to a topic in the Main Hall, just start a new topic here in the Entrance Hall. Give it the same title as to topic you want to respond to, post your reply and add a request to the moderators to copy the post for you. We or one of the other fine patrons here will then copy your reply into the original topic in the other forum.
