Thread: Name the forum

While 'games' is a neat description and very suitable can anyone think up a name that keeps the medieval theme? Best I can think of is 'Guild Hall' but that sounds too much like 'The Guild' aka the whole forum. If there are enough suggestions I can do a poll to choose the final name, alternatively the forum can be left as it is if that is preferred.

Congrats to the most beautiful avatar I've seen so far, Lady Frogg
Well first I thought of Game Hall but that would just be another Hall so what about
The Arcade, combining a sense of antiquity and game in it.

    ...

Games, reviews, generally: discussion about games.

I'd say the hippodrome to match the colloseum, but that's a bit cheesy eh?

Perhaps the Proving Grounds? A lot of games will get reviewed, I think, and that would make the title applicable in some sense.

I really think Miscellaneous Games or Games Other would be just fine. I thought about it, but what can be medieval about computer games?

Jousting Fields would have been good... But well, it's already used...

If we are going to judge games we might call it the Tribunal. But the Courtyard has a nice ring to it too.

Your mouse is a conduit for the soul, your graphic card your pulsating heart. Once you manage to grab this memory chip from my hand you are a full fledged gamer, young grasshopper

Btw, I second either The Arcade (too bad Penny Arcade is already taken, heh) or The Proving Grounds. The games aren't the only things getting reviewed but your mastery over the said games.

I bounce back on that idea...

It's not a place, but a character; I am not sure of the English translation... The guy showing bears at medieval fair...

The Great Courthouse for a trial feel to it.

Alternatively we could just say the The Castle Grounds which can be used for, well anything really

If you don't restrict the reviews to just games, and have books and film reviewed here too it could be something like the 'Town Crier'?

I like The Emperor's idea of The Castle Grounds and Kraellin's Games Emporium.

Book reviews are in the Mead Hall (at least they would be if there were any) and film reviews are in the tavern. This is more than games reviews, its gaming discussion in general but without the people yelling n00b u sux0r I iz 3lit3

Some good ideas here, I'll start a poll in a day or two.

I say a Brothel. Why not? If we have Tavern and Monastery we can also have Brothel, besides it fits right in (games).
