Sjakihata can verify this one... I was playing America's Army, on MOUT McKenna. I worked out that the last surviving Opfor must be in a specific building, so I heft my scavenged RPK and cautiously make my way in. Carefully checking around the corners once inside, I see a door opening - I assume it's the Opfor, so I unload several dozen rounds through the door - killing my hapless teammate - who'd also thought to check the building. I then wander through the door - feeling somewhat stupid, and am promptly shot by my remaining teammate - who gets kicked out of the game. From a 3 on 1 situation, to a total loss.

I was wondering if anyone else had done something quite so silly.

I had something stupid in AA as well not long ago... hadn't played in a while so I was a bit rusty I guess... I killed the same teammate like 3 rounds in a row... and in the fourth round I shot him but only wouded him He ran over to me, shot me and emptied an entire clip of his RPK in my allready dead body... so thats about 200 bullets I could allmost hear him scream... and stay down you ****ed ****er of a ****** ** **********-**** pig
After the round all I could say was sorry and he replied with NP dude
It was very embarassing but also quite funny Luckily I didn't shoot him anymore after that

This wasn't me, but still funny. In Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory, there is a warm up period prior to each round that the teams usually use to TK each. My bro had a Panzerfaust and was just aiming at the ground at the spawn and firering. he was clicking the mouse very quickly so I guess somehow the commands were carried over to the main game but, my bro spawned and fired off a pf round in the confined space that was the spawn, killing almost his entire team in one shot

Ok, technically this first one isn't an online moment but it is a multiplayer moment.

On Pro Evolution 3 my friend broke through my defence but accidentally hoofed the ball into the air, I however was pressing X in a hope that my nearest defender would go to the ball and pass it away BUT rather stupidly my GOALKEEPER came charging out, jumped in the air and headed the ball, not forward, but BEHIND him and into my goal.....lets just say I've never felt so stupid on a game before in my life .

Worst online moment, erm, I can't really reemmber any but the time on Jedi Knight where I had almost killed somebody with my lightsaber but then jumped off a ledge to my death .

Well, the only game I've ever played online was HOMM3 (guess I had really much time to kill when it came out) and I've even taken part in a ladder (ToH for those who know).

I was doing quite well, reaking like 20 victories to 3 or 4 defeats, being in the top-30 of the ladder, when I started - overconfidently - to take any challenge on any map with any rules (or no rules at all).

The outcome was that after a month of reckless playing, I was down to the bottom-100 in the tournament (it's a pretty huge one) with an equal number of victories and defeats

My most embarassing moment was when I was marching to my opponents capital with a extra-strong magic hero and a humangous Tower army, only to get creamed by him (who had an army 1/3 of mine) because he was casting repeatedly Implosion on my biggest stacks.

The most foolish thing is that I had anti-magic to protect them stacks, but never got around using it... and in the heat of the battle I even forgot to resurrect my best critters.

my most embarrassing online multiplayer moment was in a game i wont mention, with people i wont mention, but let's just say it involved a real-world husband and wife couple who played the game and a rather, uh, compromising situation between me and the wife ;)

I don't suppose you're going to be any more specific than that, Krae?

This isn't really embarrassing to me, but i did find it funny.

Back when i played Americas Army, me Sinan Sjak and Apache were playing one a night raid map. I can't remember the name of the map, i only remember it was hard to see anything if you didn't have your Night Vision goggles on. Anyway, there were two teams and mine had to attack a small camp, after a few isolated firefights i found myself the last surviving member of the assault group.

I went prone by a few trees and was crawling around outside the camp, just then I hear sinan coming so i stopped moving. I see him cross in front of me without so much as a look to my position; thank god i thought and started moving very very slowly. Yet sure enough his shape appeared in front of me, this time with a friend. I couldn't tell who it was with him but they were patrolling looking for me. I had my M16 fixed right on them but i didn't fire, i watched them running back and forth searching me out, and seeing as i was only 15 meters away they could have spotted me any moment. Finally i got the courage to fire, and lo and behold...i was out of ammo i quickly reloaded but they heard me changing clips, i opened fire with a few bursts of rounds but they took me out easily by going full auto.

Ouch... Man that stunk I'm sure. It was quite hilarious though.

Killing 4 teammates with a bad nade in raven-shield. On the (small) warehouse map you can lob a very nasty grenade, but it requires good aim. I don't have good aim, it bounced and blew up half of my team. Instant ban lil frag

Not to get away from Krae's story but I have one of my own...

Yesterday I played my first two games of AA. It didn't work out like I hoped...

In my first game I accidentally shot the leader (but I won the round shortly after that) however that wasn't the worst part.

In my second game I was playing on some snow map with a lot of hills. I had taken up a goos position to hit any enemies coming through a certain pass when something caught my eye. 8 Enemies were traveling together on a hill just ripe for the picking.Thinking how awesome this would be I opened fire killing 4 of them pretty quick. It wasn't until the 4th that I looked up and realized all of my teammates were yelling at me to stop TKing. Let's just say that those weren't enemies...

in AA i was an iraqi IF(or are they iraqi?)anyways,i had the RPK,was alone, sadly ,would have been better if my other clanmates were on,but the situation would have been different if they were on,anyways,it was on a hospital map.

I went up the helipad building and sprinted up the stair, without opening the door, and shot through it,the hapless Op For got what he was asking for,i rushed in and started firing like an insane madman on the loose killing 5 other Op For,the corridor was lying with bodies, when i suddenly see the VIP the opfor were supposed to protect, with 4 bodyguard,i let loose my rpk and 1 of them dies the other 3 scattered and were picked off by my other team mates,i positioned myself carefully so the VIP would run out of his cover, but all of a sudden,an RPG landed right in the middle of the corridor, wich i'm supposed to be in,its fragments killed me.He was all alone,1 shot and he could have been toast, but he went through my corpse,it was such a perfect round, until the RPG landed,no casualties at allbut he went to his objective anyway and made changed the situation from a victory to a defeat.

On SF Hospital, I'd just swapped teams from Ambush to Escort. I had an RPK and had just killed a couple of OpFor in the upstairs lobby. The VIP popped up from where he'd been hiding behing the desk - and I, without even thinking, shot him in the head. I kind of forgot what team I was on.

Is that a new story or is that your interesting one?

I guess it could've been funny if you killed the wife and the husband made your character eat his rifle...

You're going to tell us eventually so...

Does it involve a game called The Sims? How about Singles: Flirt Up Your Life?

I'm gonna be worried if he says yes to the second one. Heck I'm gonna be worried if he says yes to the first one...

Most embarasing moment... while playing an online game it would have to be on Halo when I threw a plasma grenade at a wall, it bounced off of it and stuck to my head, with all of my team mate watching.
"And one should bear in mind that there is nothing more difficult to execute, nor more dubious of success, nor more dangerous to administer than to introduce a new order to things; for he who introduces it has all those who profit from the old order as his enemies; and he has only lukewarm allies in all those who might profit from the new. This lukewarmness partly stems from fear of their adversaries, who have the law on their side, and partly from the skepticism of men, who do not truly believe in new things unless they have personal experience in them."
    ~ Niccolo Machiavelli
