MTW: what does Ruler ID troop advantage do?

Hi,

What does Ruler ID troop advantage do, other than simply reducing the training cost? You know, some troops, such as german gothic knights, receive bonus(es) when they are trained by a specific faction (ie. faction-associated advantage), in contrast to regional advantage where troops receive valour bonus. Thanks.

ruler id troop advantage is the discount, region id advantage is the +1 valor bonus for the region in that unit
