Okay how do u play the golden herde in single play

Okay how do u play the golden herde in single play man ive never been so tempted to play them any of u guys know how to usem in campayne

I believe there is a mod or three that allow you to play the GH...just don't ask me which ones.

You don´t need a mod to paly the Mongols. Just change a text-line and you´re set. Find your Campmap-folder and open it, go in to Startpos and open the doc high. About half way down you´ll find a column that says Set active faction, just change FT_MINOR to FT_MAJOR. Now you can do the Gengis-Khan-shuffle all over Europe - good luck

You don't even need to change a text line to play the Hord...

you can use -ian.

Top use -ian, add -ian at the end of the command line that starts MTW / VI. It will also give you real unlim camera view.

For fun you can;

-start a high campaign, play as whoever you see fit.
-quietly wait for 1231
-the Hord arrives with its big nice stack
-press shift +6 and voila, you play the Hord

Yep and you can use the same thing except change number and chose another faction heh

i always use -ian mostly for the unlimited camera view

Well Tzar, my friend
It was only 3 months since I myself was a novice here with a couple of posts. The edlers on this forum taught me the way, the tricks and other usefull stuff. Remember this when you in the future greets a novice asking stupid or simple stuff.
As for myself I try to help out others, if I can, and thus re-paying the ones that once helped me. It´s almost like a Zen-Buddhist thing. Happy gaming

click on files top of page in between chat and logout go to downloads [better than the 3d crap site]theres two mods in campaign to play as the mongols they are.


1/antalis storm over europe.

2/poor student mtw full version mongol campaign.

I've changed the command line like siad in above post to FT_MAJOR, when running the game how do you actually become the Golden Horde ?

i've done work on this in medival vi...check out the dungeon for tips and mods and whatnot, tis where i posted the stuff, plenty of mongol stuff around here

To make it easier, you can also download this campaign game with the Hord in 1232 for VI 2.01; no mod required, nothing to change, just download the save game in your savegame folder, and load it with VI, and Voila, a game with the Golden Hord
