Doom 3 should indeed be great, I have a copy pre-ordered with Game and it shall be delivered to me on the day of release

Quite worried that i may need to upgrade my graphics card though. I hope i don't have to as i can't really afford to upgrade.

Gentlemen, I doubt that this is actually beta, it is probably demo; if there is a beta of Doom 3, I would have either heard of it or actually have it, but perfectly legally, for preview purposes. On the second hand, I doubt the very existence of a demo as well, but I am intrigued now and I will check my sources right away…

Doom 3 beta? A year old piece? No, I was referring to something new, fresh, something that has just emerged. A year old beta of Doom 3 is something so ancient I actually forgot about it; no wonder considering how many games find their way through my hands…

The latest hits I got and that were hot in for are UT 2004 demo and the Far Cry beta, and no word about Doom 3, demo or beta.

Its quite old now even though its been released as a new beta its basicly an Alpha of the game.

Yes, that is right… I was in town few hours ago and met one of my colleagues, we set down for a drink and talked a little bit, mostly about the upcoming Call of Duty LAN party and I remembered this subject and asked him about it. He reminded me that there is an Alpha Doom 2003 out, but no Beta; I could have kicked myself, I completely forgot about it.

yeah, as previously stated its an ancient E3 alpha build that was leaked a long time ago. I am going to hate the game simply because it will be too scary. I doubt i will even play a demo or anything like that, i just dont have fun getting crap scared outa me.

Funny thing, I just remembered how I played Doom back in the old days; honestly, after playing the game after one hour or more, I would get sick in the stomach. Not frightened to death, it's just that piggish sounds of those awful creatures simply made me feel sick… Never have experienced anything like that, before or after, and I am no gentle flower, that's for sure.

Well.... 1 its called a Beta on the site 2 I didnt realise it was so old as I knew that ATI leaked an alpha, but this is called Doom 3 Beta 2 I will respect the mods wishes and the law heheh and not post it
In fact it didint work on my comp...probably stupid requirements for the beta that my 128 MB FX 5200 wont run, though it should...

Its called beta 2 but its the same alpha but a few more maps if i remember right..and your specs seem abit to low for it yes hehe
