How Do You Enter Cheats

I haven't tried them but want to know hoe it is you enter them exactly. During the game or in the code somehow?

During the game, while on the campaign map, you enter the cheat.

FOr example, the cheat to play trhe rebels would be

.conan.

remember the full stops before and after the word. Some cheats require certain things to work, the build fast one requires empty build que's if I remember rightly.
