medmod hungarians

I got medmod a few weeks ago, and I'm loving it. I just finished a English game (gotta like those totally OP longbows in early esp against dumb AI ) and started a new hungarian game early/hard/domination.

However, they don't seem to get a really standout unit (akin to english LB) besides hungarian nobles. I can't figure out what to do with them. Anti-cav cav with good stats? Should I use them like camels or something? What other good units do the Hungarians get?

I managed to take poland and isolate the polish king in silesia. What provs do you guys like to conquer early on?

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't play Hung much but I think you don't get much trouble. Rich provinces, many with iron, river to defence. Just build what you have discount and bonus, and your main melee in iron province. You may build up and then release super armies with max upgrade weapon & armor, excellent szekely and bunga/transylvania archers.

sure, use them like camel that don't get penalty in temperate zones.
if you like one on one fight with the enemy king, you get a bonus in that and can give you some nice V&V's when you kill them

Actually, I tried a one on one for fun against the polish king on a bridge. The weird thing was that even tho the unit was 0 valor, it still showed him as winning easily for quite some time before I sent a second hungarain noble unit around his flank.

was the hungarian noble your king? jedi on jedi should not show one as winning easily.

Yeah, it wasn't my king. Also it was on a bridge, so maybe the polish king (not the unit overall), which I think had 2 valor was being jedi on my ass. lol.

anyway, I got excommed in that game pretty quickly, and then the french declare a crusade. Funny thing tho the pope then asks for an alliance ? Even weirder, the French ask for ceasefire, then attack with their crusade the next turn . Still need help with that game tho, esp against the crusade army.

I also started a medmod campaign. Im into the 1130's right now, and was wondering if someone could give me unit descriptions for croatian spearmen, armati infantry, and serbian hussars. Also are transyvanian archers the equizalent of trebizond archers.
