Way back in the early 90's I used to have battlechess, I spent hours locked in battle with it...wonderful. I stopped playing chess years ago because I had nothing to play against when battle chess stopped working; I never saw anything likely to replace its unique mix of good AI and humour, also no human opponent. Now I have someone to play chess with but no skills

Go at this place, give it a try; since I have no time playing with people the usual way, this is my substitute. It's totally free, check it out And if you do, let me know

Whenever the previous version of Chessmaster ends up in the bargain bin, I usually make an effort to buy it. I've never devoted too much time to developing my play, but every now and then I play a few games.

I would be delighted to have some honorable opponents from the Org over there at GK, and I'm glad if I could help you to pick up an old hobby once again.

I remember playing a chess program back on my old C64/128 in the early 80s. Back then, I knew more about chess than I did about the alphabet.

I just remembered the words of Taffy Lewis from the Blade Runner: All the time, pal

I have some 17-18 games running at this very moment, made some room for challenges just in case.

That a trick question? Wherever you see a voigtkampf online, it's me. If you play chess against voigtkampf, it's me; if you ask for advise in video material editing and someone named voigtkampf replies, it's me; and if you get shot down in Call of Duty by someone using that idiotic alais voigtkampf, than it's definitely…not me, because my aiming sucks, but I do get lucky from time to time.

I have both chessmaster 8000 and X-Extreme. I have played as a rrated aplayer(highest about a high B class player). I suggest either of these programs and retrying Yahoo games as I haven't found that people cheat that much.

The bigger problem is sometimes with the connection breaking or finding player who don't want to play blitz or untimed games (the first two much of a reflex thing for me and the second takes too much time).
