I personally like the high era best i find it is the most balanced era, in early the byzantium's army's really seem to dominate and in late i think the cannons are far far to accurate, and they reload way way way to fast, i remember reading that during the middle ages cannons could only be fired a few times a day because it took so long to reload. As for the viking era i just dont like how small the selection of units is.

I still play all eras but i like high an early best with late not to bad but i rarely play viking.

So wat do u all think?
