Anything thats black can be colonised.
The rightmost part of the right black bit in australia is flooded right now. 7.8m high rivers or something down that way.
Y'know Pever, looking at the map, Im wondering how much of a beast it must be to play as Russia. I mean, I'm swamped with Brazil, which is small compared.
I think Vicky 2 is a bit easier.

For eu3/Vicky 2 its F12, with Shift+F12 being you/vassals/PU partners.

I've recently been playing Mount & Blade: Warband (first time on warband, played a fair bit back during the 0.7 and 0.8 days)
The colour changes on the map have been messing me up. Blue nords, Green rhodoks. >_>
Castle defence. 1088 Rhodoks (55 in my party) defending against 1250 Swadians.
End result, 660+ killed. My character stood at the ladder, swinging and swinging. I believe I got around 150 kills alone. Chop, chop, chop.

I'm dark green. Orange jumped through the wormhole and got caught fighting my starbase. My fleet jumped in soon after and stomped them into the ground with a whopping 0 losses for me, except for a few strike craft. Their whole fleet was destroyed.

No mods, though Ive been looking around for a good one so my buddies and i can play. We are trying to get a large enough group of people together to get a 12 man ffa going with 10 allied victors. we got 5 or 6 now.

Yup. He started as france, but he collapsed, so he switched to england.
Wow you must have realy laid into him to end up losing france.
I've not ever been at war with him. My time has been spent consolidating my position and gaining a foothold in italy/eatern europe, as well as expanding down into Arabia. As france, Miotas had the bad fortune to be at war with Austria, Bohemia, England, Burgundy and many OPMs all at once. He managed to peace out the Germans, but all his former vassals declared war on him, and he lost his army to the 0 morale insta wipe-out.
After a long, long amount of playtime this afternoon:
Inhereting Syria and the Mamluks was nice, cores on all of it. Going to go around the arabian penisula, inheret all of them, and Morocco. Then vassalise, no more territory. (Same culture = get cores on inheret)

What the Dickens is going on in Iberia? o_O
Aragon and Portugal each took a big bite out of Castille, and Granada seized the opportunity to grab a province or two for itself. Then Morocco got a foothold in Galacia (sp?) and then took a lot of portugal's territory. Castille had a brief resurgence, taking back it's land from Aragon, but then Morocco took all it's northern territories. I think it is somehow related to me screwing up as France.
It means nothing, for in the future, it shall be Ottoman Iberia.

On the 1st of Jan, 1645, the Ottoman Empire and its vassals declared war on the British Empire.
For the years leading up to the war, the Ottomans stealthily moved troops from Asia Minor into the Aztec and Iberian vassals, preparing for a stealth attack. Troops were also landed in modern day belgium. The invading force by the ottomans alone was around double of the entire British army.
365 days later, on the 1st of Jan, 1646, a peace was signed.
