Thread: Horse & Musket

    This game is screaming for an expansion (or extension if you will) into the NEXT 4 centuries.

    Once the patch is released and more aspects of the game become editable (particularly artillery and projectiles) then I will certainly start working on something.

    The one thing I haven't any idea about is the unit image and animation editing. Is anybody working on a tool that will handle this more easily?

    You cna make the expansion yourself dude, simply set the campaign start date after 1453 and hey presto (I tried 1918 and it worked fine.)

    Um, yes... true.

    Actually I was more curious about modding the graphics and animation for new units...

    Wasn't really too worried about setting the start and end date of the SP campaign... (unless you set the start date of your campaign to 1918 and you could magically build biplanes and crude tanks... )

    This subject been creeping up alot. Maybe a couple of centuries at a time, rather than the whole 400 years. That way its a bit more manageable and we can lavish-up the detail. i.e represent some of the huge changes in tactics uniforms and weaponry, not to mention nations, duchies principalities etc. Perhaps do the first one or two extension mod/s (e.g The Renaissance Mod/s) from 1450' to 1650's that way Pike and Musket era could be neatly enveloped. And make the second one or two mods (The Enlightenment Mod/s)to join up with NTW.
