Someting Total War should have

I was thinking, it would be cool if the game had a hatred factor for the factions, like the loyalty, zeal, and reliegious factors for each province. Like the English would have a high hatred factor towards the French. Wars could benifit by being like crusades (people would volunteer to fight the horrible French) and moral and valor could go up if fighting a faction which you have a high hatred for. Or maybe I'm just to cruel. What do you people think.

That isn't a bad idea. Kind of a nature enemy thing. MTW has part of that with ex-communicated factions. You score brownie points with the Pope if you Crusade against those heathen. But I think that is as far as it goes. The only downside I can see is that it might restrict your strategic options. Maybe some of those who've been following RTW more closely can comment on this with regards to that game.
