    The almoravids were destroyed by the almohads in the 1150s or 60s. so after 50 turns i think thats alright. If you mean its a problem with no heirs i'll take a look.

    I won't be adding another pagan faction to high as the lithuanians only began to become a power in the 1250s. Smaller tribes fought against the teutonic order so i might increase the rebellion level of those baltic provinces.


    Those a.i probs are being looked at and some, like the turks and germans are being fixed(germany it will be easier for in early as i'm removing bohemia i think) and the english are looking alright at the moment for the release in a couple of days.

    I don't know what happens with the almoravids, but it's just that he always die, in each and every game. He never manages to beat the almohad, and I thought it was weird, because they seem as powerful.

    I just wanted to say that I really like bohemia in the game. It was a lot of fun to play them and also liked their color scheme. Does anyone if there is a way to take Bohemia's color scheme and add it to another country? Thanks.

    Example: Like their flag and then their army units.

    Hello dead, good to see you back, i'm busy making units at the moment (almost done), just put a new and revised Flemish infantry against iranian infantry(exclusive unit for the il khanate). I'm working flat-out at the mo (early and high have also had considerable improvements), with the Khazar Khagnate and also the compound bow being just some of the things added.

    Devil, go to the startpos folder and look for set faction colour section. You will see two sets of three numbers under each faction colour. This is the RGB scheme. The first lot of three numbers are for the faction on the map, the second lot gives you another colour which is used for unit pieces, review panel pics and in battle. This basically gives your faction a second colour which helps make them more attractive. In the forthcoming release, all factions will have two colours, Bohemia's being a nice red. And they will get two new units, including Orebite Spearmen.

    The leader of the khazars would be called Kagan Adam (i know it sounds weird but many of the khazars would have married into Georgian, Various russian princedoms and even Byzantine stock.)

    The units are going great with just a couple more to add, my fav new one is either Burgundian coustiliers or Hungarian foot knights. There is about 50 new units for the release.

    Another 20 or so units will be added for the final release after late is out.

    The mod will be released on tuesday or wednesday with 55 new units. Thats brings the unit count to over a 140 new units for all periods.

    Rather impressive amount of work, I've been playing your mod for the last two weeks and must admit it adds a lot of complexity to the game. HRE is especially hard to manage : as soon as the traitorous son becomes mature all the bordering factions attack and you run into civil war

    Other factions are also fun like Armenians, Georgians, or Cumans (damned annoying pagans until they eventually run out of cash ).
    The Norses are among the best factions in my opinion.

    Like someone said the new islamic units units are really nice, the armies are now more balanced. I await the release with trepidation

    I'm looking at ways to stop those civil wars as they can be annoying. I have removed Bohemia from early and that gives the germans a little breathing space.

    Literally adding the last unit for the release and everything is going well

    Yep they sure will. They also get a new exclusive unit, Iranian Infantry, and may get a cavalry unit for the final release (not the forthcoming one). Rest assured, a lot of effort has gone into this mod and I'm confident you'll think Late was worth the wait.

    BKB, The mod is great, and looks to be getting even better. It has come a long way since you first ICQ'd me all the seperate files a year ago (it didn't work).

    On the negative side, i'm only able to play the beta, because i also get the 'invalid data' error message on the 1.0 self install version. I've redownloaded the file from the ORG two more times, but always get the same message. I hope i don't have the same problem with this next version.

    I remember the problems with downloading Early.

    Anyway BKB could you please upload it to the org at the same time as I dont think I can download it all in 2 hours when my ISP disconnects me

    Some questions. The Khazars, will they be Jewish? I know the ruling class were, but not as sure as the rest of the soldiers. And the Il Khanate, will they be Muslim or Pagan? I know they evauntly became Muslim, but not sure when.

    I was reading into the Khazars and by early the majority would have been Muslim and for the the time being the il khanate will be muslim becasue i'm sure they were but if anyone else knows more info about it feel free to tell.

    Unfortunaly, most of the Mongol books I have barley mention the Il Khanate, and focus on Genghis and then the Golden Horde. So, what lands will the Il khanate have?

    BKB do you now know whether super late will be a patch or you'll include it in a big file containing super early and high?

    Maybe a bit late, but i was surprised when i noticed you allowed the venitians to train genoese sailors, they weren't what we call friends :P (hence the few wars), so have you modified this or it'll stay like in the former release ?

    As the Il-Khanate lasted barely 100 years maybe they should be left as pagan in the mod.Their downfall came about more as an assimilation than as a conquest when the majority of the Mongols(whom almost all had Muslim mothers) became Muslims over time.

    You'll need the Super Early and High download but they will be improved upon by this release. In this release Venetians can no longer train Genoese Sailors.

    I'm going to do them as Muslim for this release but if that is definitely wrong I will change it for the final release.

    Apparently Ghazan was the first Khan to convert to Islam and he ruled from 1295-1304. So if the Il-Khanate is available in Late then they should be Muslim I think.

    This is a good point and i agree with it to an extent.I wonder would BKB be able to incorporate the Pagan Shrine idea over from Viking Invasion and have the Il-Khanate lose certain abilities when they gradually become 60% Muslim i.e lose the ability to train Mongol HAs or something.

    I think the fact that they are called 'Mongol Heavy Cavalry' and 'Mongol Light Archers' means that any Mongol faction should really be able to train them. They aren't called 'Golden Horde ....' are they, so this for me makes sense. But since they get stronger infantry units it makes for an interesting blend.

    Late is almost done, just final playtesting and adjusting some things. Trying to decide what units should go in each era - its a shame you can't add 145 units to each unitprod!

    I'm also looking into the problem with the current Super Mod download, just bear with me.

    I was able to download the mod and install it no problem, from one of the sites you listed. I had been trying to download from the org. That is the one with the problem.

    Everything else is great.

    How come Byz don't get Klibanafori in High period?
