and how about deleting cardinals, mulahs, grand inquisitors? i mean all second level religious units. i'm really not sure if taking them off will make room for aditional units, but it's an idea. i don't think they add much to the game and they just annoy me when i change turns.

one question: will there be aditional Jannisary units? or the already present are all that historically existed for the turks

oh i downloaded it from tosa inu's site and had no problems

    Questions about Super-Late:
Are there going to be new Gun-weilding units? And some more choices for missile units?

And will there be an incorporation of all 3 Super Mods?

    Thanks.

Maybe deleting some of the ships could free up space, as it seems that ship attack and defense have no bearing whatsoever on the outcome of ship combat (just numbers, speed and valour). Probably only need 2 types of ship for each faction, instead of 4(?).

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I'll ask anyway: will altering the unit sizes in this mod cause any problems?

sprucemoose, thank you very much for that link. I think it will work. I noticed that the file there is 183mb while the one I kept downloading from the Org downloads page was only 92mb, I guess it wasn't working because it wasn't the entire file, but I think the one you gave a link to should work. Thanks again

One more question BKB, can an editor be used on your mod, for example if I want to make a certain unit be available in all three periods or if I want to lower the production time?

Late by the end of July at the latest. I've been pretty busy at the mo but there isn't really all that much to do. I've also been tweaking early and high.

You can change anything you want in BKB's unit prods with Gnome or Maul's thingy. I do it all the time.

Small update, late is going well. I'll be adding the last units as well as some new buildings( Fisheries, more mine types, different courts, etc)

If people would like to give heros for certain factions(i wouldn't worry about the british isles, i be alright there) But for some like Wallachia, Serbia, Lithuania, and for any other smallers from earlier periods. Any thing would help, so don't hold back anything just throw them in the thread (i mean heros not kings here boys)

BKB, as far as i know Portuguese and Spanish history books did not mention Almoravid or even Almohad heroes, just the Caliphs.

    The complete list:

    Almoravid Caliphs, 1039-1147:

    1039-1059 Abdallah bni Yasin
    1059-1161 Abu Bakr ibn Umar
    1061-1107 Yusuf ibn Tashufin
    1107-1142 Ali ibn Yusuf
    1142-1146 Ali ibn Tashfin
    1146 Ibrahim ibn Tashufin
    1146-1147 Ishak ibn Ali

    Almohad Caliphs, 1145-1269:

    Abdul-Mu'min 1145-1163
    Yusuf I 1163-1184
    Yaqub 1184-1199
    Muhammad 1199-1213
    Yusuf II 1213-1224
    Abdul-Wahid I 1224
    Abdallah 1224-1227
    Yahya 1227-1235
    Idris I 1227-1232
    Abdul-Wahid II 1232-1242
    Ali 1242-1248
    Umar 1248-1266
    Idris II 1266-1269

    Great inclusion

Is there any chance of a unit of mounted handgunners?

I for one would love to see them in late.

Yes they will be in it. Though at this stage I haven't actually put the gun in their hands - they just have the animation.

I'm working flat out to try and do everything by the weekend. Bear with me if its a little late.

    You just made my day.

I'm very much looking forward to fighting with a Burgundian Ordonnance army... hopefully I'll be more effective than the historic one

Should be an interesting challenge considering their geography. Just a few questions to keep me going till release... what provinces did you assign to the Burgundians, and what exclusive units do they have?

Glad to hear it will be released soon... the MTW world eagerly awaits.

Burgundian Handgunners, Coustilliers and maybe Burgunian Pikemen. Definitely the first two.

I just installed the mod and the patch over a fresh Total War directory, and when I went to play it, I got this message:

I know a thing or two about modding, but I am unsure how to deal with this. It doesn't play after I press enter, it just stops.

Ah not again There is no patch - that was for the old release The only release is the auto-install until the Late release early next week. Reinstall the auto-install and you'll be right.

Sorry about that. I just saw that the patch was newer, and thought I needed it.

    This mod is awesome :)

Almost all the new units are useful and don't look too much boring (although I don't like some of them, like the champion berseker ^^).
So far, I've played with Byzance and Almoravids, and I love all the new things added in the game.

I think there are some balancing or AI problems (the english always lose to the french and the scot, the turkish gets his butt kicked by the armenian and/or byzance and/or the egyptian after a few turn, and the almoravid usually dies after ~50 turns.

I also think there should be another pagan faction in russia/eastern europe in high periode, because the main goal of the teutonic order was to fight pagan and orthodoxes (even if they spent more time fighting Poland-Lithuania). I think adding Lithuania or something like that as a faction would add some fun for teutonics/novgorodians players (I think they'll be added in super late, but they might also be nice in High)

Anyway, thanks for the great work with the mod, I can't wait to try the super late periode :)
