BKB Super Mod

I just downloaded the Mod and everything appeared to be fine, I installed it into my Total war file instead of the Medieval Toal war file as instructed, but when I load up the game a select a faction just as its about to load to the map the game resets to my desktop

Its a fresh VI game latest official patch, any ideas what could possibly be the problem? I havent installed the Mod's 2.1 patch, wanted to make sure it worked before downloading it.

Sounds like a problem with the map, although I'm not sure what exactly. I've heard people talk about screen resolutions as problems in the past, although its not an area I'm that knowledgeable in. Also what country are you in mate, did you notice any problems with the text at all?

I'm in the UK, when it loads to say about 3/4 of the load bar and you hear that kind of like a single beep noise and usually the map immediately pops up it just resets to desktop.

So I think your probably right with it being a map problem. I'll fiddle around with resolutions see if it has any effect, I havent noticed any problems with the game or anything. I play games, but understand very little about what makes them tick

so i'm pretty clueless to be honest.

Alright mate, let me know how you get on. Is it working okay in Custom Battles?

I tried a custom battle on super early with 2 new factions and it works fine, so it must be a problem with the campaign map.

Do you think totally uninstalling everything then beginning the process again would sort it out?

Of course i'd rather find a solution other than that, since it takes so long to install everything all over again.

If I was being honest mate I'd probably say no, as it sounds like quite a specific problem involving the map. I'll have a look in this thread and see if I can find anyone who has had similar problems.
