It should be done soon, it basically explains exactally what the NEW structure of CTW will be, however internet problems and an addiciton to the new Championship Manager has hampered the process.

New structure?? again or do you mean it goes into more dteail of the new structure you made a while ago

New structure means NEW structure, the first one was far too jumbled and messy for me to be able to work with effectively, the new one reduces the time things will take to do and so on, it'll be explained when I'm done writing about it.

Here's an update for you, a finalized unit list for Rome. Let me point out that more units may be added, but all the units present will not be removed, also, faction specific units are not on the list as of yet but simply the units which all Roman factions have access to.
The Romans
Units
Auxilary Cavalry
Unlike other peoples of the Roman times like Carthage, Rome was never famed for its cavalry. The bulk of the Roman army was infantry, cavalry never usually fitted into many Roman generals overall battle plans. The Auxilary Cavalry are a lightly armoured unit that are best used for chasing routing foes and disrupting enemy formations from flank attacks, they are armed with a short spear and round shield.
Hastati
The Hastati were made up of young men drawn from the Roman population for manditory military service and formed up the front lines of the earlier Roman armies. They are armed with short swords and a rectangular shield called a scutum - a shield which remained the distinctive peice of equipment throughout Roman history - and wore light body armour. Leves were often attached to the Hastati as skirmishers, although Hastati also carried one javelin each.
Leves
Leves were used as skirmishers and disposable infantry in support of the frontline Hastati. Though they are able to engage with the enemy it should only be done as a last resort or to hold the enemy lines up briefly as their skill in melee leaves alot to be desired. The Leves are armed with several javelins and a spear incase they are caught up in the hand to hand fighting though they are more useful if used to pummel enemy lines prior to the Hastati engaging with them.
Principes
Principes were the heavy infantry of the early Roman army and one of the most suited to well disciplined hand to hand fighting. Able to move well in formation and handle themselves well in combat they are a vital part to any Roman army. The Principes are armed with basically the same equipment as the Hastati but of far greater quality, they are the best equipped men in the Roman army at this time.
Rorarii
The Rorarii were, like the Hastati, young men, however they were of even lower experience than those in the Hastati. Armed too with one javelin they are best placed as far away from combat as possible due to their lack of fighting experience, using them in hand to hand combat is not wise when face with a skilled unit warriors, though they are able to stay formed long enough to atleast hold up the enemy advance.
Accensi
The Accensi were made up of the least dependable fighters available in the Roman army, their skills are even less than those of the Rorarii. The Accensi have no real purpose on the battlefield other than fighting other low skilled units and forming a line to allow more important units to withdraw behind and then re-group. If you need a unit that is able to hold up a foe long enough for your over stretched forces to re-group then the Accensi are ideal for this task, though Rorarii are more suited to holding up the enemy for longer.
Triarii
The Triarii are the veterans of the Roman army and the most skilled unit within the Roman ranks. They look and function much like the heavily armoured Hopilites of the old Greek armies, and as with those armies of old they are the most effective unit the Romans can field. The Triarii were generally understood as the last resort - as the term "It has come to the Triarii" shows - behind which the Hastati and Principes could retire due to their ability to both hold the enemy up effectively and retire themselves without too many casulties.
Praetorian Guard
Royal Unit of the House of Julii
The Praetorian Guard are the crack troops of the Roman army and are one group given the task of protecting the Emperor of Rome and Rome herself. The Praetorians wear a totally different uniform compared to most of the legions and earn more than double their pay for their services and only had to serve a mandatory 16 years, less than that of a normal cohort. Famed for their hand to hand ability the Praetorian Guard are able to hold their own on the battlefield, however the Triarii have much the same ability and come for far less a price.
Imperial Horseguard
Royal Unit of the Senate and the People of Rome, House of Brutii and the House of Scipio
The Imperial Horseguard appeared in the 2nd Century AD and were drawn from the best of the frontier cavalry forces to guard the Emperor. Unlike the Praetorian Guards the Imperial Guard did not always wear a uniform or insignia that made them stand out in battle but instead wore the clothing and armour from which ever province they were drawn from. The Imperial Horseguard are by far the most elite of Roman cavalry and with the Emperor in tow they pack quite a punch.
Infantry Cohorts
Infantry Cohorts are basically the poor man's legion, their skill does not match that of a Roman born legion but on the plus side, neither does their pay. Infantry Cohorts, though lesser in skill, are not completely useless on a battlefield. Supporting them strains your cash flow very little and they come in large numbers than legions, what they lack in skill they make up for in size and are perfectly capable of been able to turn the tide of a battle but not in the same fashion as Principes or Triarii.
Numeri
The Numeri were light infantry drawn from more barbarous provinces on the frontiers of the Roman Empire. Because of their barbaric background they are prone to impetuous behaviour and may very well attack without you orders, in some cases destroying whatever well thought out formation you have placed. In hand to hand fighting they are just as good as the rest of the barbarians and are a good unit to use to weaken down barbarians before going in for the kill with the crack troops of the Roman Empire.
Cunei
The Cunei are, in theory, simply a mounted version of the Numeri, drawing its recruits from the barbarians on its borders. As with the Numeri the Cunei are prone to their barbaric flaw of impetuous charges which too can disrupt your well structured lines of legions, but as with the Numeri their melee skills are their strong point. When met with light infantry and barbarians the Cunei are able to fend well against them, tactically charging your barbaric foes with Cunei before moving in is a worthwhile strategy.
German Bodyguard
The German Bodyguard are the foreign version of the Praetorian Guard, though not nearly as skilled as the Roman bred Praetorians. They were usually drawn from the Batavii and Ubii tribes and were used due to been seen as less corruptable as their Roman counterparts, but due to their origin they were very unpopular within Rome, so much so that Galba disbanded them in A.D. 69.
Palatini
Amongst many reforms brought in by Diocletian one was the creation of a new Imperial Guard. He created the Palatini for this purpose and confined the Praetorians to Rome itself rather than the other cities within the Roman Empire. Armed in much the same way as the Praetorians the Palatini too can handle themselves in battle but do not recieve the same sort of pay as the Praetorians, something that at time can lower their willingness to protect their Emperor efficiently.
City Cohorts
Rather than been a efficient military unit the City Cohorts can be viewed to be more like a modern day police force patrolling the streets. They have far less skill in open battle than even the Hastati due to their lack of battle experience and cannot be relied upon to stand and fight a foe with larger strength than them. It is wise to use the City Cohorts as guard in provinces to keep the risk of uprising down, ideal for newly conquered provinces.
Vigiles
The Vigiles too can be seen as more of a city defense rather than a battlefield unit. Effectively they were Rome's version of a fire brigade and patroled cities putting out fires, they did not wear armour but its is known that they did indeed wear helmets and were also known to be a military unit also. In battle they are not reliable troops, much like the City Cohorts they have very little battle experience and so can easily rout without much effort, they too should be kept as a peace force in newly aquired provinces.
