    So, I just wanted to say thanks to those of you who helped answer my questions on creating a faction. I finally got my Rednecks nation up. We're a dangerous bunch. Still have some stuff to do (shields, names, heros), but it is at least playable now. I killed the Polish Anyway, couldn't have done it without yall.

    Oh, and just so you Yanks (and everybody else, I guess) know, it's not an insult when you call us Rednecks. We know we are and we're proud of it. It always seems like when people on TV or in movies call someone a Redneck, it's supposed to be offensive. But we're cool with it.

    Question

    I thought redneck was always meant as a compliment.

    Congratulations drake. There are a pretty smart bunch of cookies here - and they're quite willing to share their recipe too. Hmmm, cookies. Snack time.

    Rednecks in a medieval game-that is classic Are they modern rednecks or do you have the Army of Northern Virginia stomping all over europe?

    You have obviously got the hang of it pretty quick, I started modding the scots into the game today and got a headache pretty quick. I couldnt figure out why the king was called king robert the+%&$*.

    On a more serious note (are we allowed to talk serious here?-unlike .com)I thought the south fought valiantly in the face of tremendous odds in the civil war.

    Eh, let's not get into putting down other TW sites. Such attitudes help continue the perception that we are snobby elitists here at the Org. They have their fans and we have ours. People hang out in forums in which they feel comfortable. It is a very personal decision.

    @gregoshi

    Please dont think I was putting down .com for one second. I still use the .com forums regularly and enjoy them as I do here.

    That said, it is a fact that they do clamp down on anything bordering on serious issues.

    I should have just asked about .org's policy on 'real' issues.

    It is so hard to convey what you are actually trying to say sometimes over a text only format.

    apologies, nevertheless.

    No problem. Just a gentle reminder that we all like the same game, but like to discuss it in different ways.

    Out of curiousity, what does your Rednecks faction look like? Just changed colours and the like, or altered rules as well?
