Almoravid flag

This is the last flag that needs correcting on my mod, except I can't find it anywhere Any of you guys got a pic? It'd be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

I have read somewhere, I think it was in a Osprey MAA book, that the Almoravids fought with a purely white banner in battle, sometimes with some black arabic text on it. Don't know about any picture of it though, or if this was the same as their flag.

A Berber Muslim dynasty in north Africa and southern Sapin. Conquered in the mid 12 th century (IIRC) by the Almohads. So I guess BKoB wants to have the Almoravids start in 1087 instead of the Almos.

A little quote about the flag here:

Prior to this time, white silk banners were often carried in battle, sometimes with Koranic inscriptions written on them. The Almoravides institutionalized this practice. They gave one banner to every unit of 100 soldiers; the leaders always carried one inscribed: «There is no god but god, and Mohammad is His Prophet». The two following dynasties (the Merinides and the Saadiens) continued the use of the White flag as the symbol of the State.

That was no doubt the white Ummayad banner.

Is there any chance you could provide these EC? Only as you know the shields are far too small to get all that text on and I need better pics. Cheers if that's possible.
