I have just purchased this game and it still is not a patch on MTW in terms of In-Battle Graphics.

I would really like to get a game where you command tanks, troops, etc. and play on battlefields rendered like in TW. Not these isometric view games.

    i.e. WWII:TW or similar.

I'll still play it. I have only done the Tutorial games so far to get a handle on the commands.

After, I have played a few campaigns, I will pass judgement

Nearly finished the Easy German Campaign.

It's too easy. Will maybe select a harder setting next campaign.

    Hi, kiwitt

The devs of this game will make full 3D battles in Blitzkrieg 2. Look at screens.

And never play easy level - it sucks. Try normal or hard. The very hard level is really deadly.

Stage one we say nothing is going to happen.
Stage two, we say something may be about to happen, but we should do nothing about it.
Stage three, we say that maybe we should do something about it, but there's nothing we can do.
Stage four, we say maybe there was something we could have done, but it's too late now.

    spmetla:

Thanks for the links to the Mods. I'll play a few campaigns before adding mods.

    Dead Moroz:

Blitzkrieg 2 looks good too. Also, playing normal is definitely more of a challenge.

I've been playing this recently too. It looks gorgeous and plays very well however

    1. Easy setting too easy and intermediate well nigh impossible

    2. Didn't like the way British and American are one and the same in their campaign

    3. (Kind of related to 2) - not enough historical depth - there were rather a lot of nations involved in this shindig y'know

That said the sequel/add on looks tremendous
