I wouldn't have started a new thread here at all, but...I guess I have to. *laugh* All I wanted to do was to post in the Shogun forum about things, but I have to do the thing where I can only post here for a while. Oh well. :)

Umm, so, yes Hello Hope you're all well. I brought Shogun: Total War (Warlord edition) about a month ago for £5. What a bargin I love it. At the moment I'm trying to figure out how to get the thing to log in for multiplayer (it hangs on logging in). Mind you, my connection is rubbish and so my games would probably lag like mad.
I'm considering buying Medieval, but I'm not sure on how my PC would handle it.

As for setting up MP and what not, feel free to drop me a line (that goes for anyone) w/ any of the various IM programs below (ICQ is the preferred, naturally) and I'll see what help I can offer you. Even if it's not due to my help, I hope you have great fun w/ the first (of many) superb Total War games

What are your computer's specs? Maybe we'll be able to give you an idea if it can run or not.

I've got a 450Mhz processor, 64mb RAM, 16mb graphics card. I'm not sure how that'll cope with M:TW. In Shogun, some of the bigger fight scenes (with around 2000 people all hitting each other) tend to leave me computer struggling a bit. :(

As for MP: I'm using AOL. And, err, AOL sucks. Could that be the reason it won't work? I set up an account with EA on their website and stuff, and typed in the info on the page in the game, and used the connect with existing internet connection option, but still no luck.
