When I played way back when, the cheat code was .conan.

The expansions and patches may have changed that, so......

Duke, can you be clearer? You want to mod(?) STW to allow the Rebels as a playable faction? And you want to do this because your friends are getting MTW(?) shortly? I'm confused (not that that is hard to do).

No greg, he wants to mod it so rebs can be playerble, becuase he wants practice before he gets MTW. That is what I thought he was saying.

Did you even try the cheat code .conan.? That isn't modding.

JAG, I can't help other than moving this topic to the Alchemist lab as I'm not a modder. I know barocca has some STW modding information at our Clan Doragon website so I looked into it briefly. I found nothing relating to rebels.

I'm still confused about how modding STW relates to friends buying MTW soon. I'd think MTW modding questions would be in order.

ok gregoshi, it would be nice if you could move this, if you look at the post i made about mtw and stw you can clearly see that i said i want to get some practice at modding stw because i am getting mtw in a wedd, and i want to know a bit of modding techniques beforehand. sorry for the confusion i might have caused.

My fault Duke. I read your first post a couple of times and missed the I thus thinking that your friends were getting MTW. Sorry. I'll move this to the Alchemist lab forum. You will be able to post replies in that forum.
