Idea for new mod

Hi all
I'm new to the modding of total war although i have not long ago learned to edit another game, i have been reading the forums for a while and wouldn't mind having ago at modding myself. However I'm not in a position to do this myself so here goes. As i was reading through different topics the idea came to me for this, Although not entirely accurate historically i thought it would be cool to make a mod for m:tw containing vlad the impaler and the ottoman empire. Anyone who may like to take it on i would love to help any way i can. thanks stu

just to elaborate a little.

reigons:
carpathia, moldavia, wallatcia(capital) and perhaps bulgaria.

The king being vlad the impaler(undyeing if possible)

units:
jobbagy
bulgarian brigands
slav javellins
slav worriors
fanatics
spearmen or pikes
boyars
szekely
order of the dragon knights
order of the dragon footsoldiers

from reading about the armies of vlad i feel that it was geared more toward gorrilla tactics than open warfare, so i think the best troops would be the heavy order of the dragon and the rest would be more skirmishing fast moving troop types.

just an idea lemme know what you think.

So you are thinking of a campaign on about the same scale as the Viking campaign? That would be nice.

Yes the map would span from hungary to edessa, that sort of size or there would be the possibility of including the walachian's on the regular campaign map.

I'm sort of thinking a campaign with the focus on Asia minor and some inclusion of the middle east and the Balkans. Eastside Character is already working on a near eastern campaign. Maybe we should melt it down to a single one? Ie the size of the big map zoomed into the area mentioned. But I dunno...

sounds good, but as i say i know nothing about modding tw, and at the moment all I'm good for is research
if you or eastside character would like to use the idea i would love help all i can.

to late looking at current mods today and the bkb mod already includes walachians and they are woking on ottoman invasion campain, so its as done.
