    Talking

To set the scene, I was pootling away happily as some Catholic faction or other. I had taken Tripoli, and was pretty pleased with myself, though my crusader troops were a bit battered.
And then the province rebelled. Against my army was set a force of two rebel spies .
The enemy pane in the battle window had the spy icon, with '1' for number in unit, and '0' for valour. I wanted to see what would happen but then I clicked autocalc instead (buttons to close together for stupid me).
It was a shame, really. I should have liked to see what spies were like in combat .

lol, happens when you mod your game. Medmod has this kind of bug too.

EDIT: The game crashes if you fight it out, so it's pretty lucky that you didn't.

FURTHER EDIT: Welcome to the org

Thanks for the welcome. I don't think that my game was modded at all at that point. I haven't experienced anything like that since.

Admittedly, it would be rather cool if you could put assassins on the battlefield that would be concealed all the time. Like Hashishin but can hide while moving until really close to the enemy. And spies that can be concealed in the same way, but have peasant level attack and are good for scouting. Or emissaries that you can use to parley with the enemy...I think I got a bit carried away.

    Here's another funny rebellion (v 1.0 though).

What about Muslim Mongolian Highlander Clansmen in Georgia? And full stacks of it, for 3 years in a row?
We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

@ironside, you had a muslim rebellion that went over to the mongols consisting of highland clansmen in georgia?

    weird.

I always love the irony of Muslim troops making up the bulk of papal reemergences and one game, due to extensive bribery of christian rebels, my Almos actually had more feudal knights, italian inf, and FMAA than any christian faction
