Hosting behind a firewall

Well just thought I'd Give everyone a note that wants to host a game with there firewall on. You still have to turn it off but only briefly. Once you are in the lobby alt tab to desktop turn off your fire wall open the game back up host the game then quickly alt tab back to desktop and turn your firewall back on. Even though your firewall is on people can still join the game its the fact that the server got the necessary info before the firwall was turned back on. I use this method and I can have a game hosted and my firewall back on in less than 15 seconds

Hi what if i'm behind a firewall that i can't control, i.e i'm on my school network, and i want to hook up some frens to play on the network, is there anyway to go round the firewall?

When at work or at school, don't compromise other people network by turning off router/firewall (well, as if you could have admin password anyways).

I was able to host behind hardware router (at home) by open the right ports. There is a post about it in the Apothecaire.

Do a search in the apocethary for "firewall". It's over a month old fyi.
