AC(american conquest) vs MedievalTW

Has anyone not got frustrated by the unwieldy eyecandy that are the cossacks series of games. Full of eastern promise, are Russian buddies showed real balls with tales of thousands of wonderfully detailed troops in realistic battles. But........what did we get. So is anybody bothered about the further delays in Cossacks 2's release. Or do you think this one will this be a little beauty.

anybody know where I can find screens of AC??? Never heard of the game before but it has an interesting timeframe.

Cossacks 2 will have a turn based strategy map much similar to TW. I have expectations of it. They say that they tuned down resource management so that you will be able to concentrate on your campaigns.
