Alternatve MTW interface

Hi there,
I was browsing the site and i noticed that there are screenshots on this site, of the tactical map, however, in these screenshots the interface was different, as were the castles and keeps.

Is this a change made by VI ? (i do not have it because when i was willing to pay for it, it was already taken out of the stores and replaced by the to expensive battlebox) or is it done by a mod.

Of course you cal guess what my second question will be.
Does anyone know where you can get VI for a reasonable price ? I live in holland so mailorder will get pricey because of the shipping costs.

If we are thinking about the same screenshots, they are from an early beta stage of original MTW.
