I am editing the campmap piece for agents, and it seems that one piece has become 'out of sync' with the the rotating circle that apears around the base of a selected agent. The piece appears to the right of the circle. This isn't a major problem, just an annoyance and I was wondering if anyone can help.

I thought that one possiblity would be that there is an 'origin' pixel which determines where the piece is placed. If so then I have certainly left it out.

    Any ideas

It happens, it seems, because of the color palette. i had some problems with that. try to paste the new agent over a default bif with same dimensions and test it.

i'm only just back online in the last few days,
i have not yet got all my modding data installed on this sytem,
    BUT
If i remember correctly the last version of readbif (bif/buf editor) has an option to add extra data to the buf files (i think it's the buf files) - try fiddling with that number and see where the circle goes - that number tells the rotating circle where it should be in relation to an aspect of the image
(i just dont have the brain capacity to permanently store ALL the info - i have it written in file somewhere....)

(apoligies for vague nature of this reply - not all my files have been transferred across from CD and the partial recovery i was able to extract from the fried system)

    cheers,
    B.
