Does anyone have any tips for winning the first battle in the 100 Years war historical campagn for the French (the one where you have to break the seige)? I've tried many different strategies, but the English just have so much cavalry. If only i could fight them across the bridge.

I just sent out a group of cav to each piece of art as quickly as I could, and it worked fine for me (bait the ai, it's stupid).

You can't beat the English army - there's too many of them. Use your cavalry to destroy the English artillery. I tend to go for the one in the upper left corner first and sacrifice some infantry to prevent my cavalry from being caught by the English cavalry when they head back to the castle. The English will soon head for the upper left corner, presumably because of the elevation, and the rest of the seige weapons will be vunerable in the open.

Once all four seige engines have been destroyed, the English will abandon the seige.
