sorry, the .rar file. The file you download from the web has to be decompressed with winrar (you can google-search it) and inside there will be a few other folders and files. Among them, there should be a readme that will explain how to install the mod.

    It isnt too user friendly...

It is true indeed, thanks for pointing it out, i usually don't use firefox.
I'll try to fix it. However there's also other stuff that isn't showing properly, mainly the active x content of the translucid background.

I'll see what i can do...

    Nice top header though!
    Thanks

Sweden was essential for the mod.

If you want to help, I need more Swedish heroes/anti-heroes, for now I have only 5-7

    In the future patch:

    - new units ( around 20),
    - new map (some sort),
    - new animations (at least small changes),
    - new historical battles ( we will see how many),
    - new buildings and agents,
    - corrected mistakes, errors - another step towards perfection.

I won't abandon the project for a long time, but the priority goes to the PMTW2 and OiM now

    Hi cegorach
This note is partly to check the system since registering on the forum yesterday, and to tell you I've started messing about with making a new morion and breastplated cavalryman, based on your current custom 9 figure. As to the pink arquebusier problem, I've put him to one side for now - it'd be a pain to switch the pink and green around now, so I was wondering if someone has simple programing skills to switch those colours around on the bmps? I'd post a pic here for others to see but don't understand the simple instructions, doh!

I have tried your mod a bit now, and it looks realy cool

But you know the descriptions for some units are missing?
And a small note. Dalkarlar comes from Dalarna, not Dalarnarna

    Verry godd work!

Edit: Sorry but can´t help with the heroes... Do not have the knowledge.

    Very well.
New animations are prepared and I collect much data about armies and historical battles ( 1 or 2 playing with Sweden).

I can say openly that currently I have more than 33 new unit in my plans and I am sure I can find the place for them.

Probably I will even add 2 additional factions, but I am not sure yet.

Certainly the new release will be impressive.

Yeah, I tried Kirkholm and discovered I couldn´t play as Sweden so I kicked some swedish asses just fur fun. But very nice to hear I will be able to play as the swedes in the next version.

Wow, this sounds so much more lika a big release rather than the "patch" you promised some weeks ago. Damn I am so happy you havn´t quit the medieval version! Good luck!

    >>>>>>>>>>> You will be able to command Swedes at Warsaw 1656 - because this was one of few battles where Poles outnumbered Swedes and even AI will probably coordinate cavalry charges better than king Jan Kazimierz
Kircholm was chosen for several reasons, but mainly becase it is possible to make this battle really hard to win for a human player
Want something hard ? Try Obertyn 1531 for now.

Is there any way that I can help out? I don't have any modding experience, but I feel pretty passionate about this era in history. I've played the previous release and I have some suggestions about changes that could be made.

    No problem...

You can post your suggestions and Cego will take care of everything...

Here are my suggestions to Cego:

Landsknechts - German mercenary halberdier, very powerful

Guardes Suisses - France and Swiss also, only available to train in Switzerland

Ministeriales - Powerful armored german cavalry

I can give you some pics and historical info about these guys if you decide to include them in the game. PM me if you want them.

Except Ministeriales they are/will be there. In fact there are 5-6 different Lancknecht units in the mod

    Heroes and office titles...

Besides if you know something about unit animations it would be great - currently I have only one man to do it ( streety) + me for finishing touches ( weapons, shields - no more).

For now adding singular forms to the names of Romanian units I presented would be advisable

    >>>>>>>>> Would be good. Although I must tell you that the new animations won't be as accurate as it is possibly required, simply the number of animation entries isn't sufficient to represent all the varied uniforms/outfits of all the units in the mod. BUT any help would be great - especially with some eastern units i.e. balcan, russian, polish..
I don't even think of Lancknechts - they will be terrible to prepare - but the are essential before the work will be completed - so for release 3.0 or 4.0 I guess...

What titles do you want?! And also heroes, from where?! The Balkans???? Romania????
Titles - up to 10 for each faction - some have pretty enough ( Poland, Tatars, Cossacks, Spain, Ireland and many others), but some are simply terribly inacurate ( Moldavia is a good example) - ALL THE TITLES will/already use NATIONAL languages e.g. Polish, Georgian, Hungarian etc so Romanian would be great too. Honestly Moldavia is one of my favourite factions, but I lack knowledge to represent their titles correctly.

Heroes - I'm dreaming of 30 heroes for each faction, but currently only Poland has them all.

Osprey campaign books are excellent sources so in the next release there will be at least 30-40 ( at this moment I have 25) more - mostly for HRE (from Lutzen 1632) and Hospitallier knights ( Malta 1565). I will buy more books and collect more data from other sources, but ANY suggestions are useful.

Soon I will post revised roster for Moldavia and Hungary in PMTW 2.0 ( MTW).
