    Exclamation

    Hi

posted a new message under "I Am A Daddy" in the Frontroom.
Used the "Stunned" smiley and was redirected to a telefragged.com webpage which reported an error.
My company's websense then popped up a message warning that an attempt to access a spyware page had been blocked.
It was such a surprise that I closed both windows before thinking to take a note of more details...
I'll check the websense log and post the blocked page here.

    TT

I just had the same issue with telefragged. It popped up after a failed PM. What TonkaToys missed out on getting was lots of porn sites and lots of new desktop items. This just happened to me about half an hour ago and after two shutdowns my computer is still acting funny. We'll see if everything works out...

Sorry guys, wasn't able to find the entry in the websense log.

Anyone got any ideas why this happened?

DoL: Were you trying to use a smiley in your PM or was there anything else you noticed that might help us to track this down?
Also, have you cleaned up yet? There are a couple of anti-spyware packages I could help you find if you need them.

    OK... starting to worry.

I was checking out the following link to the org's replay download page (h t t p ://w w w .totalwar.org/Downloads/MTW/Battles_R.shtml) and up popped the spyware warning again.

The link is h t t p ://w w w .xzoomy.com/media/smsnew/index.php?id=262 (my edit to space out www to stop you guys going there accidentally).

I also noticed that the download page tries to run an ActiveX.

    Any ideas on this?

Perhaps I'll check my PC to make sure I don't have spyware on it that happens to run when I am on the org...

This happened to me thrice today, including in a PM to you, DoL (I hope it has arrived, it did show up in the sent messages box). I also saw the same page several times when replying to topics in the mead hall earlier this week. But I have recieved no spy ware as far as I know, apart from a few cookies.

Edit: I got sent to telefraged when trying to post this message too. It was posted correctly, but this is getting a plague .

I have noticed this on several occasions too (especially yesterday, when I got "telefragged" after almost every reply I posted). When I hit the "back" button a few times, I saw that the replies were posted normally though.

    Very strange.

Yes, it's odd, the posts are posted normally, but I think something is wrong with the re-direct system.

The PMs seem to be getting through even though you get the telefragged screen, but the emailed versions aren't getting delivered.

I know Tosa was looking into the comments/concerns expressed over some of the pop-ups. Looks like he has another item on his list to check into.

Also try ROCKHAMMER's links posted in this thread. They link to Telefragged too.
