    Just been playing Kuma's 'East or West' campaign as Mori (great campaign Kuma- those blasted hordes of missionaries annoyed me so much I burnt down the cathedral!). I bribed a rebel general with a load of muskets in Buzen then had to defend the province against an ashi and musket horde. lo and behold as they attacked my outnumbered and outgunned forces with the first volley my muskets killed their general and off they went! Never happened to me before. Wonder if the 'deadeye' muskets are as good as the 'ronin archer' phenomenon...

    If the honour of the other enemy troops was low they would rout because the generals death can rout units such as YA and arques.
