There were a couple of hands on previews of Thief 3 at through the looking glass, played by two thief fans. For the most part they liked the game, and said it was undoubtably thief. Those pages are down at the moment, I'll link to them when they are back up.

Of course the validity of those previews depends on how far you trust the opinions of two people. I'm still not convinced, but I am getting a bit more hopeful that the game will be more than unremitting garbage.

It's supposed to be out on the 16th of next month here, and I'm determined to finish thief 1+2 before then. Can I do in 22 days what I haven't managed to do in 5 years? I'm feeling confidant due to two things:
1. Restored EAX capability on my PC to improve that all important sound.
2. I got the lock on my door working, so no interruptions

It's supposed to be out today in the US, isn't it?
