I hope you're right about the releasedate
Although the releasedate is from the UK site.
The ATI Radeon 9800 does seem to be a likely candidate to be bought.
Preferably I'll buy the one with 256MB, but have to read a review first to see whether it's actually worthwhile.
Hmm.. I suppose it could be the same here with credit cards then. I'm not quite sure how the rules really are.
Heh. Good point about that
I think I'll play through Hard the first time and Expert the second.
One thing I've always liked about Thief is the ability to reset the difficulty of your choosing to whichever you want before the start of a mission
I was able to hit from a good enough distance with the dagger. Can't remember how far the sword in Thief 1 & 2 reaches. A dagger also shouldn't really be used in a frontal attack, unless you have one big friggin' shield to get in close enough striking distanceThen again being agile and speedy is another option.. But you had to be agile and speedy with the sword in Thief 1 & 2 aswell
*Remembers the times of 3 or more guards running after him with large swords and/or hammers*
By the way, you could always use hit and run tactics. Move forward and strike, go backwards and repeat. So on harder difficulties I still think there is some skill required. Nonetheless I think Garret should be able to hold his own against one guard, but it should still be tough in a frontal melee where both are able to ditch out attacks simultaneously.
So you want to play it in the utmost of darkness eh?
Have fun
