    Question

Just wondering who frequents this place at silly hours of the day.

(5 am) I'm on because I have an 8 am deadline for some chemistry - been doing an all-nighter. This is my perpetual break.
Don't have any aspirations - they're doomed to fail.

    Rumours...

Well I'm on here at 9.50am when I have study leave and no exams. Don't know what has come over me. Cleaned my room too...

Time is relevant; depends on where your posting from. That, and the fact that old people don't require as much sleep.

I'm usually here between 5pm and 11pm, sometimes even longer...

And no, this does *NOT* say anything about my social life

That DOES say that you are playing Port Royale from 11pm-5pm. Im sure you even leave it going while you are asleep (I do).

Oh, pleased to be helpful *bows*.
You could even sleep with your headphones on, so you dont miss any interesting events.

    Imagine: *blurring dreaming sequence*
sleeping by the PC, and dreaming with your exams and then you hear that gold discovered in somewhere music and your dream changes to the deck of a ship in a sunny day and you smell the sea and the dirt of the port. Feel the waving of the frigate, the swearing officers 2 decks below waterline organizing the packages of cacao and tobacco for the upcoming departure.
You check the tide, look up the sky, feel the light breeze from the plantations at the other side of the town and realize that you still have enough time left till the wind changes and allows you to leave the port.Smile to the wind and feel strong and full of life after some days of trading and resting peacefully in the town, with the security of knowing that your factories and plantations will allow you to do whatever you want.

    *back to reality*

Isnt this better than the exams?

Yeah, I have a science module one tomorrow. Since 9.50 today I have a) spent several hours with a girl, b) spend about an hour telling some other people what we need to know, c) got bored and met a friend.

    Must revise...

I go through all nighters all the time; watching American sports and revising.
GARCIN: I "dreamt," you say. It was no dream. When I chose the hardest path, I made my choice deliberately. A man is what he wills himself to be.
INEZ: Prove it. Prove it was no dream. It's what one does, and nothing else, that shows the stuff one's made of.
GARCIN: I died too soon. I wasn't allowed time to - to do my deeds.
INEZ: One always dies too soon - or too late. And yet one's whole life is complete at that moment, with a line drawn neatly under it, ready for the summing up. You are - your life, and nothing else.

I just mentally die about midnight, earlier if I have consumed alcohol. Being brain-dead by 11.30 isn't all that fun...

I always wake up annoyingly early too. Damn it.
