Type, including the periods, whilst in the strategy map. Be aware that going from left to right it will then show you every enemy move, shinobi, army, etc. This can take ages, and if you want to see how the enemy reacts to your move and you're, say, Hojo, you'll have to wait for a bit or skip it.
