Thread: A tool someone should make

    I think that the most usefull tool anyone could make would be an error checker for startpos files. Something that would have a list of valid/invalid lines and search for these.

    For example it would go a bit like this:

    At the start of the scan, the program would ask u to validate a certain list of faction names. If u clicked yes, the program would search for spelling errors/typos and lines which include factions which arn't declared. It would then do the same for all the other lines.

    It could also become a sort of mass project by which everyone would submit solved errors which they have had in the past, and the program would search for these common errors.

    I don't have the skills to do this, but if someone did, it would definately (in my oppinion) be the best tool availiable.
