However bad sex, particularly if that's the only kind of sex your having, is another matter entirely. Bad sex usually doesn't last very long and you're often left unsatisfied with a general feeling of frustration afterwards. So if I had the choice between bad sex and great gameplay I think I'd go for the latter. I'm speaking from experience on this one. Back in the early 90s I had one girlfriend who did not improve one iota in the sack the entire time we were together. I bent over backwards (figuratively speaking) to put a smile on her face and despite her high marks and praise she never reciprocated. No amount of smoothtalking or cajoling would change her ways. Add to the fact that as the relationship progressed she became increasingly annoying and manipulative and one could easily understand why I got infinitely more excited about marathon sessions of Doom and Red Baron than I did about the prospect of frolicking between the sheets with her.
