I'm not sure where to post this, am guessing in here.

I've forgotten my password. I'm logged on right now b'c my machine remembers it for me. As I have to change machines tomorrow, this trick won't work anymore, and I want to be able to keep my "Obadiah" identity. I don't see any link to "forgotten passwords" as with many sites, and without typing in the old password, the system won't let me choose a new one

Can you send me an email how to resolve this? I doubt I'll have time to get back to check posted responses before logging out today.

    Much thanks

    Hello obadiah,

This forum has that feature. You'll see it when you log in:

Forgotten your password and/or log in details? Click here

It will send a new password to the e-mail account in your profile, so check that it's valid.

You can drop me an e-mail if this fails and I will reset the password in the AdminCP. There's no way to retrieve your current password as it's strongly encrypted in both the database and the cookie stored on your machine.

Oh, reminds me, you could save the cookie on a floppy. It's stored in Windows/cookies and called something like name@totalwar.txt. Just drop it into the cookie folder on the new system. This won't work if you used the lost pw feature.

    New hardware?
    Ja mata
