Mods that improve the AI

I was curious what mods you think offer the best tweaks (with respect to leveraging moddable stuff to improve the AIs strategic map play)?

I've played MedMod, with decent results (so long as the AI faction maintained it's homelands), but I'm curious if there's anything out there that really improves the strategic AI to a significant degree.

I do enjoy mods that stuff rebellions full of elite troops, but I'd like to see something a little more, since most of the fighting tends to be with other factions after all the rebel lands are gobbled up.

Semi-related question as well - I've found playing on expert can actually make the AI easier to defeat, because it gets caught with rebellions far more often (especially right after it takes a province). Anyone else experience that? Seems that playing on hard helps the strategic AI, but the tactical AI doesn't get the nice morale bonuses which make the tactical battles slightly more challenging.

I'd recommend the Fall of Rome mod. Very good, very hard in places as the Barbarians all attack your provinces as they fight for the utter destruction and money and wealth to boot.

I loaded up google and just turned up a bunch of references to Rome Total War, heh.

Really? I sacked Rome with the Visigoth's, take that Roman Oppresion . But yes, the FOR mod AI is alot better. Also try Medmod if you wanna improve on MTW. The AI makes huge trade economies, so watch out. They also do things they never do in Campgiens, like bribe your armies and become very agressive.
