    Decadence, Rome and Romania, the Emperors Who Weren't, and Other Reflections on Roman History

    I stumbled across this while surfing. Im sure the author makes some controversial statements, but I thought it was a very interesting read (and possibly a good topic for dicussion).

    Nice article, most of it is true IMO, with some radical suggestions like the comment on Julian the Apostate.

    That is correct, I just don't agree with the rather Christian reaction to Julian's actions.
