Hi, hardware is expensive here. so my question is.

would you have 9800non-pro with 512Ram
    or
    9600xt with 768ram
    in order to play rome?

I'm deciding now weather to upgrade what part.
    Thanks

512Mb works fine. Anything above that would be a luxury, although depending on what else you do with your PC, RAM represents the single best investment for a speed increase. Windows - in whatever flavour - really benefits from extra physical memory.
Gentlemen should exercise caution and wear stout-sided boots when using the Fintry-Kyle Escape Apparatus. Ladies, children, servants and those of a nervous disposition should be strongly encouraged to seek other means of hurried egress.

Hmm.. would a GeForce 4 MX crap-card need an upgrade for the game to run it smoothly at top detail?
