Greetings to all TW community, may it last long.

Congratulations to all fans expecially a handful modders for some quite suberb work, unhindered imagination and astonishing dedication to such a game series.

Next i have some questions ( can't use search function[?] )

    A) Regarding AP ( armour piercing ) troops
    - How does the bonus apply ? Does it negate part of opponents armour ; Adds to troops Attack against armoured ; ...

    B) Cavalry in hills
    - Downhill charges have full effect ?
Asking this because i've noticed some slowing down on Cav going quickly downhill on steep incline.

    C) Unit Speed
    - Does it have any effect on fighting speed also ?

    Cheers and keep up,

Victory needs no explanation. Defeat allows none.

    Welcome to the forums

Been playing since STW. Love it and it will last long (else rabid fans would storm the CA HQ). The wait for Rome among the fans is getting a little frenzied.

    a) It adds to the attack of the unit with the AP ability. (unit armour - 1)/2. AP starts at armour 3 for infantry and 4 for cavalry. For every +1 armour, + 1/2 attack to the unit. Armour upgrades is also included.

    b) Yes. All charges at that impacts at full speed (note that all units require acceleration and they dont hit full speed when charging uphill) would gain the full charge bonus.

    c) No. Fighting cycle operates at a certain uniform speed for all units (cav, infantry what have you). Up to 2 guys can attack another at the same time.

Feel free to ask other questions. You can get a lot of help around here.

    welcome to the org

Maeda explained it all beautifully, I've only got one tiny detail to clarify, although it might be inferred from what he said.
Only 2 units can attack another unit _in melee_ at one given moment. There is no limit to the amount of arrows you can rain down on one man.
Therapy helps, but screaming obscenities is cheaper.
