Your first campaign. what empire will u use?

I belive i will first play as the Greek states. i really like the spartan hoplites. hoplites in general are cool though.

1/ Britons

2/ Germans

3/ Carthage


When i mod this beast i think i will play as the scythians, then armenians and perhaps Dacia for the crack

Don't forget that with the Selucid Empire, you can also build Legionaries. that plus phalanxes will kick major crap out of any army

No, really, IF I get this game (when and how is another story...) my first non-Roman campaign will be the Greek city states and next the Seleucids. I'll conquer the med in all possible ways with those two, and then I'll move on ...maybe to Macedonia (if one has modded them into playable) or with Ptolemeans (if the FIX-FOR-THE-EGYPTIAN-ABOMINATION mod has arrived). If not, I'll happily squash Rome with Karthago.

Then I'll move on to the hairy, naked barbarians

Well, i'm a mediterranean fellow and i will give my attention in conquering everything around it first.
This means i'll need...let's think....the "Seleucids"

They don't seem to be an abomination of a faction like their fellows, the Ptolemies, and they have a big variety of units.

Then, Carthage maybe and then the Gauls and then the Parthians or the Scythians and then some greeks again and then....
