Anyone got any idea how to win the Crusade campaign with Saladin, last battle. It is impossible, men run away to easily and the armies are too close to manouvre.

    help please

It's been a while since I played the Saladin missions, but I recall being swept away by the initial crusader rush, too. . What I ended up doing was telling all of my non-spear troops to retreat, and then setting the spears to block the oncoming cavalry units. Then, once their cav were engaged, I swung around my cav and camels and ghazis (at least I think there were ghazis) and hit them before the crusaders' foot troops could catch up. Once I'd started to smash the cav, it became a rout. Maybe it was a fluke, but it worked for me. Good luck.

Is that the one with the sea to the right? I got stuck on that and then started my first campaign, so haven't looked at it since. Might have a go now with your suggestions Digenes Akrites, and my additional experience

Oh and welcome to the Org guys.
