I'm looking for some books on Aviation during the first world war, specifically concerning the RFC. I'd be grateful for any recomendations given. Thanks in advance.

You could probably find development dates, advantages, and mechanical designs for many of the more famed fighters in The Complete Bood of Fighters by William Green and Gordon Swansborough.

You can also find many more things in there from other eras such as WW2, the Korean War, the Cold War, etc.
