Hello everyone,

Just signed up and wanted to briefly introduce myself. I bought MTW a couple of months ago on a whim to try on a new laptop, and I've become obsessed with it since. (Went out and bought the VI expansion a week later.) I suprised myself - I've always been more of a traditional hex wargamer (SL/ASL, SPWAW, TOAW, etc. etc.) but I've really fallen for this game. I like the period of history, too - nice to get away from the modern stuff for a bit.

Been watching and reading the boards for a few weeks now and finally joined. Had a lot of questions before, but you folks have already answered most of them. Really appreciate the great guides that you have here! Looking forward to hanging around here off-and-on, seems like you have a great site.

So long you don't make jokes about anything and always remember to have something to say when you post. Jokes are easily misunderstood, and taken as offensive, and a post that has no content does not add anything to the conversation.
Quite simple really, welcome and enjoy!
You could think if you have some really interesting topics, I think we haven't had much of a interesting discussion here, mostly trying to help with TW based problems.
How about starting a nice military discussion thread? Those are always a joy to be a part of. Try to make the actual topic pretty wide, don't specify too much, allow the discussion some room to evolve, and you have the chances of starting perhaps the most popular thread on the forum... Who knows?
