I'm going to do an ACW Total War myself, from the Mexican American War to the 1880s, or maybe up untill 1900. I'll have to figure it out so that I can change turns to represent a week.

Remember we're only oging to do WWI if it can be done sucessfully and without any major things getting cut out. If Rome Total War is as moddable as it claims to be, guns will be possible. Not only possible, but so will maybe machineguns (of course, airplanes will probably be impossible, but I don't think anyone was expecting them to begin will). And, besides, adding Europe isn't that bad of an idea. It might even make it even more fun. Surely you can't be so scared of Europe to chase you away from a very fun mod.

Of course, all this depends on the moddability. If Civil War is only possible, I will be cotent.

I can help with research, and I have a cd of a Confederate brass band (reinactors ofcourse) that is full of music from the era, would be good for a sound pack. I also own Soldiers in America, by Don Troiani. It is infantrymen and their uniforms from French and Indian war through the Civil War, good for scanning images from (dont have a scanner though
