Faction Colours

I am making sheilds and flags for my differnet factions. Howver i am not totally sure what the colours are on the 255.255.255 scale. If i change the colours in the notepad file will it change the colour of the sheilds. Also can it be the wrong colour. In the notepad than the sheilds. Basically could somone please explain how to do the faction colours. Also when i try to use the faction colour tool to load up my mod to change the colours it just crashes. Please help me

Hi saundersag,
If you use the colour tool just to find out which colours are which, you can edit the scripting yourself and just type in the new numbers which appear next to the slider in the faction colour tool. And no the shields are indipendant of the faction colours. I'm thinking of creating different shields for each different kind of unit that uses them. Should make the battlefield look more realistic.
